Chocolate at Easter is a given, but this is a long weekend that is also perfectly matched with a long brunch with family. So if you are still unsure of your weekend plans, and don’t fancy cooking, then here are few places offering brunch on Easter Sunday.
Lake Constance
Why not try brunch with a difference and jump on board one of the Vorarlberg Line boats and enjoy a buffet brunch whilst taking in the beauty of the lake.
Mellau
You already know I’m a big fan of this cafe/deli. On Easter Sunday they are offering an extended version of their regional super breakfast. Which means even more delicious delights, washed down with their amazing coffee.
Hohenems
Brunch for the whole family with kids under 6 eating free. Their buffet is full of regional specialties as well as offering baked beans, one of my favourite parts of an English breakfast when I was a kid (actually still a favourite now, you can’t beat a good baked beans on toast).
Bregenz
This beautiful hotel is offering the ultimate Ländle brunch, showcasing the very best products from the region, such as Vorarlberg honey, Bregenzerwald cheese, smoked fish from Lake Constance, Montafoner lamb stew, veal and beef from Lauterach, and of course riebel and kaiserschmarrn all made from local ingredients.
Dornbirn
With breakfast classics, Easter specials and live music, you can’t really go wrong. Their buffet includes some fantastic indulgent dishes such as smoked duck salad, lamb in rosemary sauce and fish in saffron sauce.
